Histoires Pour Rires is a large (14-1/2 x 10") French edition of Lothar Meggendorfer's Artistic Pussy and Her Sudio featuring 6 full-color plates activated by a tab at the bottom of each image. Facing pages display humorous text (in French, natch) by Adeline Reynaud and a Meggendorfer line drawing. Issued by A. Capendu (Paris) around 1900, this copy is in VG+ condition with a bit of exterior wear and very small archivally closed tears around a few of the tabs. As compared with many, many Meggendorfers, this is absolutely complete and each of the movables works perfectly. A solid VG+.
